Can New Approach Methods delineate between Adult Neurotoxicity and Developmental Neurotoxicity?
Neurotoxicity is defined as the adverse effects of chemical compounds on the structure or function of the nervous system. Developmental neurotoxicity occurs following exposure during brain development, whereas adult neurotoxicity occurs following exposure after the completion of brain development. The speakers will present their latest developments under the Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC) and will open the discussion to future perspectives.
