Continuing Professional Development (CPD) obligations are common in most professions. Many businesses define CPD as a structured approach to learning, helping to ensure that competences improve and knowledge, skills and practical experience develop. CPD can involve any relevant learning activity, whether formal and structured or informal and self-directed. SCAHT is committed to supporting CPD and has joined forces with the XeRR (Centre for Xenobiotic Risk Research) to offer a range of toxicology education courses throughout the year.
For further information please visit the XeRR continuing education courses programme.
There is also the opportunity for toxicologists to participate in individual modules of the Master of Advanced Studies programme in Geneva/Lausanne.
Information on additional courses/programmes will be posted here as it becomes available.
SCAHT also organises a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Regulatory Sciences which provides continuous professional education and development to those working in chemical regulatory affairs in government, industry or research organisations.
