Ellen Fritsche appointed as Editorial Board Member of new Elesevier NAM Journal
The use of animals for toxicological testing of chemicals and biomedical research is increasingly criticized because of ethical concerns regarding animal welfare as well as given scientific flaws due to lack of human relevance. As a result, the fields of scientific research and chemical testing are currently facing a paradigm shift moving from animal experimentation towards the use of non-animal human-centered technologies and techniques or so-called new approach methodologies (NAMs).
The NAM Journal embraces the recent advancements by serving as a hub for dissemination and worldwide exchange of information regarding state-of-the-art NAM developments.
