Season's Greetings

Dear partners and friends of the SCAHT,

This year, I am writing the SCAHT Season’s Greetings on a more personal note. As many of you already know, I will be retiring at the end of January 2024 after more than 14 years as SCAHT Director. I would like to thank all team members, researchers, teachers, collaborators, friends and colleagues for all the support, time and encouragement that you have given to the SCAHT and to me personally over the years. It’s been a great journey!

We have also been very fortunate to be able to recruit Professor Ellen Fritsche as the new SCAHT Director. Ellen is an internationally recognised expert in the development and validation of alternative test methods and their use in chemical risk assessment. She will be introducing herself to you in the next newsletter. I am sure that the SCAHT will continue to prosper under her leadership and I wish her good fortune in her new position.

Have a wonderful festive season, and a very happy, healthy and peaceful New Year 2024!

Martin, Ellen and the SCAHT Team
